The festival takes place alternately in the villages of Colle, S. Martino or S. This year the festival takes place on the Pidigalm in S. Maddalena. Starting point: S. Maddalena/head of the valley. Walking time: 1,5-2 hours. The festival begins at 10.30 am. with a Holy Mass on the Oberbergalm. In the characteristic alpine huts, various local dishes are served, such as Brettljause (a typical snack with bacon and cheese), barley soup and Tirtlan, coffee with homemade cakes, Pressknödel (cheese dumplings) with cabbage salad or potato salad, homemade Schlutzkrapfen, dumplings, polenta with goulash, baked goods, shepherd's macaroni, Linzer Schnitten (sweet cake). The Antholzer SunntaMusig play rustic folk music and the Taistner Gaslkrocha show lively there performances. Children programme. A unique and unforgettable celebration to end the summer.
