Visitors to the Dolomiti Balloonweek can enjoy a hot air balloon flight lasting around half a day (including assembling the balloon, hot air balloon flight, dismantling the balloon, “baptism”).

The actual flight takes around an hour depending on wind and weather. A hot air balloon basket has room for two to five persons, including the pilot.

By car: Travelling from either the north (Innsbruck-Brennero/Brenner) or south (Verona-Bolzano/Bozen) along the A22 Brennero motorway, exit at Bressanone/Brixen – Val Pusteria/Pustertal and continue in the direction of Brunico/Bruneck and on to Dobbiaco/Toblach. From the east: Felbertauern-Lienz (Austria) -Toblach/Dobbiaco By rail: Travelling along the Brennero line (Innsbruck – Verona), change at Fortezza/Franzensfeste for the local Val Pusteria line to Dobbiaco (Fortezza-Dobbiaco takes just over 1 hour).
