Churches and Chapels

Attractions in Valle di Braies

Not so long ago it was customary to build at least a chapel in even the smallest of hamlets. Braies therefore boasts 7 chapels, however, they are all privately owned and not open to visitors.

Particularly worth seeing is the chapel at Lago di Braies (open) and the mother churches of Ferrara and San Vito. Both are open during Services.
