Sports centre in Val Pusteria

The Nordic Arena in Dobbiaco is one of the largest sports centres in Val Pusteria and offers many opportunities for sport and entertainment, in summer and winter. In the winter cross country skiing tracks are laid in the arena and on the roof of the building. In the summer, there is a professionally designed roller skating track. The adventure park is nearby. A further highlight of the Nordic Arena is the climbing facility. The Nordic Arena also boasts floodlit tennis courts (1 clay court and 1 court with artificial grass), a conference and press section, restaurant and bar, cross country ski school and cross country ski hire and toilets.

In terms of size and construction the cross country ski stadium is unique in Europe: The cross country ski track leads across the building with all the facilities, and at the highest point offers cross country skiers an overwhelming panoramic view across Dobbiaco. International events also take place on Dobbiaco’s 120 km of cross country ski tracks.

The Nordic Arena Climbing Centre offers a selection of routes up to 28 m and a boulder room. The climbing routes to 8A are changed monthly.
