The newly built drinking pavilion in the Kneipp facility in the Kurpark spa complex, which is fed by the well-known mineral spring Bagni Pian di Maia, could become such a magnet. The oligomineral water is said to aid with digestive problems, metabolic disorders, abdominal pains, nervous disposition and support of the respiratory organs. According to the oldest medical tract dating back to 1675, the water is said to contain saltpetre, vitriol and a “gold coated” substance. Water contains only a very small amount of minerals. Because of the low discharge the well is also fed by those springs that have already been used in the facility for many years. At the outlet of the spring the water flows over rock crystal from the Val Pusteria, thus considerably increasing the liveliness of the water. The open air inhalatorium and drinking pavilion were built with financial contributions from the European Regional Development Fund ERFE, Interreg IV Italy Austria, Project “Kneipp Alp” No. 2301.

Walk barefoot in the fresh dew for two to five minutes. Then put on warm socks and warm up with plenty of movement. Recommended for vascular disorders, headaches, high blood pressure, varicose veins.
